ENGINEERED ELECTRODE NANOMATERIALS

Controlling electrochemical reactivity starts at the electrode active site. At Yan Vogel lab we use a variety of synthetic methods to make inorganic nanomaterials to use them in our devices. We make inorganic nanoparticles through colloidal synthesis, magnetron sputtering, and electrochemical deposition. We also modify the surface of these materials to give them specific properties such as increased stability or activity.
